Steve’s Meltdown is a new concept from the team that brought you Steve’s Hot Dogs, The Fountain on Locust and The Fountain on Delmar. Initially developed as a ghost kitchen concept, Steve’s Meltdown Elevated Grilled Cheese has grown into a St. Louis favorite, even being the subject of a recent highlight by the Riverfront Times. Partners Steve Ewing and Danni Eickenhorst worked with their team, including Joseph Zeable and Jeremy Robinson, to develop gourmet grilled cheeses and scratch made soups to pair them with.

”We do comfort food really well,” said Ewing in a recent interview with St. Louis Magazine.

The concept has a staple menu of gourmet grilled cheeses with fresh baked bread and creative flavor combinations - and just like its sister restaurants it has short run specials and limited time collaborations with other local restaurants in St. Louis.
